I have 2 payment schemes, agile or project. At a glance, agile is perfect for flexibility when you don't have a set deadline or need a short term solution. Project is great for when you know what the end goal is and you want someone to take care of everything from start to finish.
This option is fantastic if you need an additional developer due to holidays, illness or change in deadline. I have a minimum term of a week, I feel this gives me enough time to get up to speed with your project, integrate with your team, produce quality code and walk your team through how to maintain it.
There's no deadline on agile - I work with your team or alone to get done as much as possible, it's entirely up to you how many weeks of agile you wish to use. If your project is completed mid-week I'll put together a list of further tasks we can do together.
This is your more traditional structure. We agree a payment plan, iron out what is included in the project, trade contracts and then it's business as usual. This option works well if you have a specific deadline, you don't have a team in-house or you need the project planned out from start to finish.
